Foodies appreciate being able to check online reviews before trying a restaurant or ordering new dishes. Once they’re in the restaurant, they like taking photos of visually appealing meals to share on social media and paying for their bill with mobile wallets. Upon leaving the restaurant, many people use their smartphones to contribute online reviews of their dining experience, on sites such as Yelp.
